| Should Vent Continue |
Hello Guild,
I've been noticing for a while now that our vent is not overly utilized. I often see people logged in but little conversation. This leads me to ask if it is worth continuing. I took it upon myself some time ago to get us setup with vent and a website. My hope was that, although I never pushed for it, that others would want to step up and contribute. Unfortunately, this has never occurred. The current subscription is set to expire on July 6th. If i do not receive some level of consensus that we should continue and that others will participate, I will let the subscription expire.
All that would be needed is for 10 people (I would certainly be one of those) to contribute $10 and we have vent service for an entire year. Or 5 people to contribute $20 and we are at the same result.
Please email me at deathwishmasters@gmail.com to let me know if you will participate. I will in turn respond to all with the total number of supporters, which will determine the dollar amount. We can all decide at that point if we continue.
Please let me know if you have any questions and I hope to hear from you all.
Regards,
Svago |

For those of you who may not have heard, a big gratz to our newest 4 Star General...Sellan. As a valuable member of the guild, a knowledgeable leader and a helpful friend, the choice for the guild officers was not only easy but unanimous. When you see him online be sure to give him a slap on the back and gratz for his continued dedication.

DEATHWISHMASTERS is now back to what it was a week ago. Three founders (and former memebers) of DWM, the Guild Master from GOA. along with those who followed him, have come and gone. Several members of the guild were shocked at the moment, but I would like to look at it as a memorable experience unless critical matters are resolved.
It was a treat to, once again, be in constant contact with Wraithly, Gseege and Dseege. Those original members helped substantially to get me to where i am today. Gseege ran around lower level questing zones with me, for two solid nights, helping with every quest I had. That is just to mention one time he helped me. Wraithly geared me up at low levels with his blacksmithing. He also turned me on to PVP. Dseege helped me out a lot with enchanting and it was great to hear his late night rapist voice again LOL. Finally, SAM and those who followed helped us figure out a bit of naxx that was, before, unseen and unknown to some DWM members.
With that being said, it's sad to see the recent merger fall apart in one foul swoop. Some non DEATHWISHMASTERS gained access to our vent, from my understanding, and began throwing out racial slurs. This caused the GOA Guild master, along with his followers, to immediately leave the guild. It's disappointing to many that there was no discussion of the matter. The new members left as quickly as their decision to join us.
I hope the loss of these members will not discourage our current members from the guild. It is good to keep in mind that reading a web page could have got us just as far in the same time. I'm sad to see great personalities joined us and left, but we retained the same level of membership as if the aforementioned event never happened. I am also crapping my pants over Sarah (Elzeltario) comming back.
I am confident we can stay together as a guild and gain many new members along the way as we push towards the future. May we all work together to conquer the END-GAME! DEATHWISHMASTERS!

I just want to share my humble opinion of where we stand as a guild right now. Last night we ran OS as most of you probably saw on the guild in game calender. I was so proud of how far we have come together recently. We have always been the guild with the best people in the entire realm but last night was a shining example of what we can do when push comes to shove. Lately, the guild has been a bit unsettled becuase of some defections...folks that felt their best interests would be served better in another guild. And make no mistake...it IS driven by self interest. Now while I don't hold that against them, I do applaud all those who are here putting the guild up on their sholders and moving us forward. We have been aggressively trying to run our newer level 80's through instances to get them better gear. We need to do this so that we have depth of vital specs. Through this we have brought up and also recruited some outstanding players. This brings me back to last nights run.
DWM ran OS last night and moved through the raid instance with grace and ferocity. Our tanks held aggro like I've never seen...we know this because because our dps came out with no repairs needed. Our healers were magnificent allowig us to rip through the sanctum with no wipes. And lastly our dps was devistating, with an overall average of over 2k.
So to those of you who were honored to be a pert of the OS raid as I was...a big sloppy gratz to you. To those of you who have been so gracious in helping to build up or guild and help gear up our members...our gratitude to you. And lastly, to those who felt that you would be better served in a different guild...my condolences to you. Because you are missing out on the absolute best guild in the AOS realm...period!
PS be sure to check out the Gallery for new pics our our valiant triumph |
| Naxx Run |
| Last night was an exciting night. DWM took down the Arachnid Quarter with veritable ease. With Chumgasm calling the fights, we made our way smoothly through all the bosses. We even had a few people get the achievement on the run. With lots of laughs, a DWM trademark, we expect to have the remaining quarters down next. |
