The website upgrades are as follows:

https://www.guildomatic.com/meta/features

I have posted a poll on the forums the find out who is interested. Follow the link below and answer the poll question. We will see where we stand based on the response.

http://www.deathwishmasters.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=92#92

Best wishes,

Todd (Svago)

Svago Mon, 12 Oct 2009 14:56:02 -0000 http://www.deathwishmasters.com/news/show/324952 http://www.deathwishmasters.com/news/show/324952 Long Time No Read
Posted 10/12/2009 09:31 AM by Svago.

Hi everyone,

I'm not sure if anyone is still coming to this site so I'm going to take this opportunity to find out. Those of you who stop by please leave a quick comment in the space to the right. It is fast and easy for people to see. We will determine what we can do to regain our lost momentum and re energize our guild. Please send me your suggestions by email or post them in the forums. If there are any popular links you would like added to the home page, let me know that too. If everyone participates, we can make this a fun useful site. Everyone should make it their HomePage for all things Warcraft. It may not be there now but together we can make it so!

Todd (Svago)

Svago Mon, 12 Oct 2009 13:31:05 -0000 http://www.deathwishmasters.com/news/show/324937 http://www.deathwishmasters.com/news/show/324937 Should Vent Continue
Posted 07/02/2009 12:06 PM by Svago.

Hello Guild,

I've been noticing for a while now that our vent is not overly utilized. I often see people logged in but little conversation. This leads me to ask if it is worth continuing. I took it upon myself some time ago to get us setup with vent and a website. My hope was that, although I never pushed for it, that others would want to step up and contribute. Unfortunately, this has never occurred. The current subscription is set to expire on July 6th. If i do not receive some level of consensus that we should continue and that others will participate, I will let the subscription expire.

All that would be needed is for 10 people (I would certainly be one of those) to contribute $10 and we have vent service for an entire year. Or 5 people to contribute $20 and we are at the same result.

Please email me at deathwishmasters@gmail.com to let me know if you will participate. I will in turn respond to all with the total number of supporters, which will determine the dollar amount. We can all decide at that point if we continue.

Please let me know if you have any questions and I hope to hear from you all.

Regards,

Svago

Svago Thu, 02 Jul 2009 16:06:29 -0000 http://www.deathwishmasters.com/news/show/283487 http://www.deathwishmasters.com/news/show/283487 Congratulations!!!
Posted 06/05/2009 10:32 AM by Svago.

For those of you who may not have heard, a big gratz to our newest 4 Star General...Sellan. As a valuable member of the guild, a knowledgeable leader and a helpful friend, the choice for the guild officers was not only easy but unanimous. When you see him online be sure to give him a slap on the back and gratz for his continued dedication.

Todd (Svago)

Svago Fri, 05 Jun 2009 14:32:42 -0000 http://www.deathwishmasters.com/news/show/271548 http://www.deathwishmasters.com/news/show/271548 Look at this...WHOOT
Posted 05/18/2009 11:32 AM by Svago.

DEATHWISHMASTERS is now back to what it was a week ago. Three founders (and former memebers) of DWM, the Guild Master from GOA. along with those who followed him, have come and gone. Several members of the guild were shocked at the moment, but I would like to look at it as a memorable experience unless critical matters are resolved.
It was a treat to, once again, be in constant contact with Wraithly, Gseege and Dseege. Those original members helped substantially to get me to where i am today. Gseege ran around lower level questing zones with me, for two solid nights, helping with every quest I had. That is just to mention one time he helped me. Wraithly geared me up at low levels with his blacksmithing. He also turned me on to PVP. Dseege helped me out a lot with enchanting and it was great to hear his late night rapist voice again LOL. Finally, SAM and those who followed helped us figure out a bit of naxx that was, before, unseen and unknown to some DWM members.
With that being said, it's sad to see the recent merger fall apart in one foul swoop. Some non DEATHWISHMASTERS gained access to our vent, from my understanding, and began throwing out racial slurs. This caused the GOA Guild master, along with his followers, to immediately leave the guild. It's disappointing to many that there was no discussion of the matter. The new members left as quickly as their decision to join us.
I hope the loss of these members will not discourage our current members from the guild. It is good to keep in mind that reading a web page could have got us just as far in the same time. I'm sad to see great personalities joined us and left, but we retained the same level of membership as if the aforementioned event never happened. I am also crapping my pants over Sarah (Elzeltario) comming back.
I am confident we can stay together as a guild and gain many new members along the way as we push towards the future. May we all work together to conquer the END-GAME! DEATHWISHMASTERS!
~ Highlifer

Svago Mon, 18 May 2009 15:32:03 -0000 http://www.deathwishmasters.com/news/show/262959 http://www.deathwishmasters.com/news/show/262959 Guild Pride!!!
Posted 05/01/2009 09:16 AM by Svago.

I just want to share my humble opinion of where we stand as a guild right now. Last night we ran OS as most of you probably saw on the guild in game calender. I was so proud of how far we have come together recently. We have always been the guild with the best people in the entire realm but last night was a shining example of what we can do when push comes to shove. Lately, the guild has been a bit unsettled becuase of some defections...folks that felt their best interests would be served better in another guild. And make no mistake...it IS driven by self interest. Now while I don't hold that against them, I do applaud all those who are here putting the guild up on their sholders and moving us forward. We have been aggressively trying to run our newer level 80's through instances to get them better gear. We need to do this so that we have depth of vital specs. Through this we have brought up and also recruited some outstanding players. This brings me back to last nights run.

DWM ran OS last night and moved through the raid instance with grace and ferocity. Our tanks held aggro like I've never seen...we know this because because our dps came out with no repairs needed. Our healers were magnificent allowig us to rip through the sanctum with no wipes. And lastly our dps was devistating, with an overall average of over 2k.

So to those of you who were honored to be a pert of the OS raid as I was...a big sloppy gratz to you. To those of you who have been so gracious in helping to build up or guild and help gear up our members...our gratitude to you. And lastly, to those who felt that you would be better served in a different guild...my condolences to you. Because you are missing out on the absolute best guild in the AOS realm...period!

PS be sure to check out the Gallery for new pics our our valiant triumph

Svago Fri, 01 May 2009 13:16:05 -0000 http://www.deathwishmasters.com/news/show/253845 http://www.deathwishmasters.com/news/show/253845 Naxx Run
Posted 04/29/2009 03:27 PM by Svago.

Last night was an exciting night. DWM took down the Arachnid Quarter with veritable ease. With Chumgasm calling the fights, we made our way smoothly through all the bosses. We even had a few people get the achievement on the run. With lots of laughs, a DWM trademark, we expect to have the remaining quarters down next.
Svago Wed, 29 Apr 2009 19:27:22 -0000 http://www.deathwishmasters.com/news/show/252827 http://www.deathwishmasters.com/news/show/252827 The Bitch Went Down - aka OS Guild Run
Posted 04/19/2009 09:32 AM by Svago.

For those of you who were following the guild calendar you know that OS was on the schedule for last night. The run went well with only a few glitches that we quickly worked out. I expect we will run this some more in preparation for Naxx. Gratz to all that were involved! Be sure to stop by the Gallery for pictures of the group.
Svago Sun, 19 Apr 2009 13:32:34 -0000 http://www.deathwishmasters.com/news/show/246197 http://www.deathwishmasters.com/news/show/246197 New Members
Posted 04/17/2009 09:53 AM by Svago.

Because we all play WoW at different times it easy to loose track of who has joined recently. We have had some great new guild members join up recently and I have had a chance to run with some and talk to others in vent. All are great additions to the membership.

If you see someone online in the guild that you aren't familiar with, take a moment to say hi and run soething with them. It may tun out that they are not new at all but with a couple hundred toon in our guild it is bound to happen. Let's remind everyone but especially our newest members why DeathWishMasters is the best guild in the realm.

Best wishes and gank a horde!

Todd (Svago)

Svago Fri, 17 Apr 2009 13:53:06 -0000 http://www.deathwishmasters.com/news/show/245112 http://www.deathwishmasters.com/news/show/245112 New Vent Server
Posted 04/07/2009 09:57 AM by Svago.

As those of you who make a point to read the news updates know, we were having issues with our previous venter server provider. I say previous because I gave them the boot. I was as patient as I felt I could be with them in dealing with the attack on their system. But upon returning from my business trip only to find it unresolved...well let's just say I was DISAPPOINTED. So, we now have new vent settings. They are as follows:

IP: atlanta.gventrilo.com
Port: 3939

If you had your vent set up before, this will be an easy switch. If not please proceed to http://www.deathwishmasters.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2 for a detailed explaination of the download, install and setup of vent. Thanks to everyone for their patience.

Todd (Svago)

Svago Tue, 07 Apr 2009 13:57:57 -0000 http://www.deathwishmasters.com/news/show/239896 http://www.deathwishmasters.com/news/show/239896
